美國知名作家法蘭辛．瑞維斯，畢業於美國內華達州立大學（University of Nevada），主修文學與新聞。畢業後曾短暫從事新聞工作，專責訃聞與人文軼事。後在岳母介紹下，首度接觸羅曼史從而專注歷史類羅曼史寫作。創作之餘苦無題材，後專注研究聖經，並以此為寫作媒介，寫出多部暢銷宗教主題羅曼史。

Francine Sandra Rivers (born 1947) is an American author of fiction with Christian themes, including inspirational romance novels. Prior to becoming a born-again Christian in 1986, Rivers wrote historical romance novels. She is best known for her inspirational novel Redeeming Love, while another novel, The Last Sin Eater, received its own film adaptation released in 2007 by Fox Faith.
